Message From Principal's Desk

The Aditya Birla Higher Secondary School, Sidhi

The easiest task in human life is to mislead or lead people astray. The most difficult task is to educate or show the way. Differences among living beings are not possible without education. As soon as the tradition of learning or getting educated begins, man becomes different from other living beings and starts achieving the status of a human being. His nature of continuous learning makes him the best among all living beings. Education actually transforms the mind and brain. Scholar Malcolm Forbes believes that the purpose of education is to replace an empty mind with an open one. This wind of change or transformation shows the divine nature of education.

This process is simple, but it requires the right effort. It requires continuous effort and sadhana. There are some occasions in this when the seeker has to go through a period of hardship and difficulty. This is also true, because if everything is achieved easily, then the importance of everything will end. That is why Aristotle has also said that the roots of education are bitter, but the fruit is sweet. This sweetness becomes synonymous with the culture, change and progress of the society.

Education is no longer a sole responsibility. Rather, its dimensions are constantly changing and enhancing. Today education is child-centric and the responsibility of giving full opportunity and progress to the child lies with the teacher, guardian and society. If everyone keeps discharging their duties properly, then the objective of education will be achieved.

Now if we look deeply into education, then education is actually a continuous process. On the other hand, so much can be learned throughout life while learning. All this may become a part of the daily routine, but all this cannot become a part of education. In reality, education is what remains in our mind and brain and which brings change in life. Scholar Skinner's statement is absolutely true - Education is what survives when what has been learned has been forgotten. That is, education is what remains after you forget what you have learnt.

Come, let us all together nurture dreams, dream new dreams, sacrifice our happiness for the betterment of children and then together create such an environment that child talent like Avani Chaturvedi emerges from every home and touches the heights of the sky.
