Teachers' Day was celebrated with immense reverence and heartfelt gratitude. Students expressed their admiration and appreciation through songs, speeches, and performances, honouring the pivotal role educators play in shaping lives. On the occasion of Teachers’ Day, the school community came together to pay tribute to its dedicated teaching faculty. A vibrant cultural programme, entirely managed by students, included dance, music, and eloquent speeches expressing gratitude and admiration. Senior students assumed the role of teachers for a day, symbolising respect and understanding for the profession. The Principal addressed the gathering, highlighting the transformative impact of educators. The event reinforced the deep bond shared between students and teachers.
Children's Day
Children’s Day was marked by exuberance, creativity, and love. Teachers hosted a festive celebration to honour the spirit of childhood, filled with fun, laughter, and surprises. Children’s Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm. Teachers organised a joyful fest featuring ice cream stalls, waterball games, bhel counters, and interactive game zones. The Unit Head and FH-HRs inaugurated the event and witnessed the energetic atmosphere filled with smiles and cheer. Teachers performed songs and skits to delight the students, highlighting the affectionate teacher-student bond. The day was a beautiful reminder of the innocence, creativity, and boundless energy that children bring into our lives and classrooms.
Independence Day
Independence Day was observed with patriotism and pride. Students participated in a solemn flag hoisting ceremony and showcased their love for the nation through inspiring performances. The 15th of August was celebrated with great patriotic fervour. The national flag was hoisted, and the National Anthem echoed through the school grounds. Students presented speeches, patriotic songs, and cultural dances representing India's diversity and unity. A special tribute was paid to freedom fighters through dramatic presentations and poems. The Principal addressed the gathering, urging students to uphold the values of democracy, unity, and integrity. The event was a powerful reminder of the responsibilities that come with freedom.
Republic Day
Republic Day was commemorated with grandeur and patriotic zeal. Students honoured the Constitution and democratic ideals of India through speeches, performances, and tricolour-themed activities. On 26th January, the school observed Republic Day with a ceremonial flag hoisting, followed by a cultural showcase of India’s rich heritage. Students performed folk dances, delivered speeches, and enacted scenes from India’s journey to becoming a republic. The event also featured an oath-taking ceremony to reinforce constitutional values. The Principal’s address highlighted the importance of being responsible citizens and cherishing the democratic framework of the nation. The event evoked deep respect for the country’s past, present, and future.
Gandhi-Shastri Jayanti
Gandhi-Shastri Jayanti was observed to honour two of India's most revered leaders. Students paid homage through speeches, bhajans, and presentations reflecting their values and legacy. The school commemorated the birth anniversaries of Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri with sincerity and reflection. A serene morning assembly featured devotional bhajans, inspirational speeches, and skits portraying the simplicity, courage, and leadership of both icons. Students spoke on their teachings, especially the values of truth, non-violence, and humility. A cleanliness pledge inspired by Gandhi's Swachh Bharat vision was also undertaken. The event aimed to instil in students the timeless relevance of these leaders' principles.
Christmas
Christmas was celebrated with warmth and exuberance. The school embraced the festive spirit with carols, decorations, and joyous performances that echoed the message of peace, love, and compassion. The Christmas celebration infused the campus with festive cheer and the spirit of giving. A nativity play, melodious carols sung by the school choir, and vibrant dance performances highlighted the joyous occasion. The venue was adorned with Christmas trees, lights, and student-crafted ornaments. A symbolic visit from Santa Claus brought smiles and laughter across the junior sections. The celebration also reinforced messages of empathy, sharing, and harmony. The Principal urged students to carry the festive values throughout the year.
Tree Plantation
To foster environmental consciousness, a tree plantation drive was organised with active participation from students and staff. It reflected the school’s ongoing commitment to sustainable practices. As part of the school’s eco-initiative, a Tree Plantation Drive was held, encouraging students to become active stewards of the environment. Each class planted saplings in designated areas, guided by teachers and volunteers. The event included brief talks on biodiversity and the importance of green cover. Students named their saplings and pledged to care for them. The Principal emphasised the critical role youth play in combating climate change. The drive not only beautified the campus but sowed seeds of responsibility and environmental stewardship.
Ganesh Chaturthi
Ganesh Chaturthi was celebrated with immense devotion and cultural zest. The event blended spiritual rituals with vibrant student participation in dance, drama, and traditional arts. The celebration of Ganesh Chaturthi at school began with the ceremonial installation of Lord Ganesha’s idol, created eco-consciously by students. Aartis and bhajans echoed across the campus as students and teachers joined in reverence. Cultural performances, including classical dance and short skits on Ganesha’s tales, added a rich traditional touch. The Principal encouraged students to adopt sustainable practices even in celebrations. The event nurtured cultural awareness and a spirit of unity through shared rituals and collective joy.
Ram Leela
To impart cultural and moral values, a theatrical enactment of Ram Leela was presented by the students with grandeur and devotion, captivating the entire school community. The Ram Leela performance was a spectacular blend of storytelling, music, and drama that brought the epic Ramayana to life. Students portrayed the characters with great conviction and reverence, donning traditional costumes and delivering powerful dialogues. From the exile to the battle of Lanka, each scene was enacted with precision and emotion. The presentation not only highlighted India’s rich mythological heritage but also underscored timeless values like righteousness, loyalty, and courage. It was received with resounding applause and deep appreciation.
Non-Thermal Cooking
The non-thermal cooking activity introduced students to healthy eating practices through creative, fireless recipes. It promoted nutrition awareness, teamwork, and hands-on culinary exploration. Students from various classes participated in a unique non-thermal cooking activity that encouraged the preparation of simple, nutritious, no-cook recipes. Using ingredients like fruits, sprouts, vegetables, and dairy products, teams prepared dishes such as salads, sandwiches, and energy balls. The activity emphasised hygiene, presentation, and the importance of balanced diets. Teachers guided the process, explaining the nutritional value of ingredients. Judged on taste, creativity, and health quotient, the event was a delicious success that instilled awareness and enthusiasm for healthy food choices.
