On 25th September, we had the distinct honor of hosting a visit by our esteemed Chief Education Officer, Mrs. Jyotsna Saxena Ma’am. The visit was a significant event that provided an invaluable opportunity to showcase the school's academic achievements, infrastructure, and overall progress.
Ma’am interacted with the students and parents of Class X and PUC. As a strategic architect shaping the future of education through innovative policies and practices, she also engaged with the staff, emphasizing the importance of embracing technology and modern pedagogy to enhance learning.

The domain of sports has the vast potential to “Better” the game of life itself. Besides promoting physical fitness, it also lays importance on healthy lifestyle and helps in developing social skills. Our students participated in various championship tournaments at school, taluk, district, state and national level. Annual Sports Day was celebrated on 15th & 16th December. Dr. Umeshappa, DDPU, Haveri was invited as a Chief Guest.
Teachers’ Day at ABPS Kumarapatnam was celebrated on 5th September 2024 with great enthusiasm to honor the dedication and hard work of our educators. Students expressed their gratitude through performances, speeches, and heartfelt gestures, making it a memorable day for all.
Children’s Day, celebrated on November 14th, is a joyous occasion where students are treated to fun activities, cultural programme, and special surprises.
The school also hosts its Alumni Meet on this day, providing an opportunity for former students to reconnect and inspire the current batch by sharing their journeys.
Independence Day is celebrated on August 15th with patriotic fervor. Students participate in the flag hoisting ceremony, march-pasts, patriotic songs, and cultural performances, instilling a deep sense of pride and respect for our nation.
Republic Day, celebrated on 26th January, highlights the importance of the Indian Constitution and democratic values. The event features a ceremonial National Flag unfurling, inspiring speeches, and vibrant cultural displays by students.
On 2nd October, Gandhi Jayanti is celebrated as students pay tribute to the Father of the Nation through prayer meetings, skits, and discussions about his ideals of truth, non-violence, and simplicity, encouraging them to embody these values in daily life.
The Investiture Ceremony, celebrated on 19th July, is a prestigious event where students are officially entrusted with leadership roles such as Prefects and Captains. It fosters responsibility, teamwork, and discipline, nurturing the leaders of tomorrow.
A fire safety mock drill was organized by the Safety Department, led by Mr. Sharanappa, for all staff members at the school. They taught us how to use the ABC cylinder in the event of a fire outbreak. The drill aimed to ensure workplace safety and to educate staff about fire prevention and safety measures. A practical demonstration was also conducted by the staff.
