Teachers’ Day was celebrated with joy, gratitude, and vibrant entertainment at ABPS Nandyal. The entire day’s activities were thoughtfully organized by the students of Classes X, XI, and XII, as a heartfelt tribute to their mentors.
The celebration began with a floral tribute to Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, honouring his contributions to education and philosophy. This was followed by a variety of fun-filled games and cultural performances, creating a lively and memorable atmosphere. The event reflected the deep respect and affection students hold for their teachers.
ABPS, Nandyal joyfully celebrated Sri Krishna Janmashtami on 24th August 2024. The campus came alive as the Kindergarten children arrived dressed as little Krishnas and Radhas, spreading charm and cheer all around.
The young learners enthusiastically participated in a variety of festive activities, including Dandiya and the traditional Dahi-Handi, showcasing their joy and energy. The celebration was a delightful blend of devotion, culture, and childhood innocence.
The 76th Republic Day was celebrated with great solemnity and grandeur on 26th January 2025 at Dronacharya Stadium, UTCL Township. The Chief Guest, Mr. Rama Rao (FH Technical, APCW), unfurled the National Flag, followed by the rendition of the National Anthem, setting the tone for the day's patriotic celebrations.
The NCC cadets of ABPS, Nandyal proudly took part in the March Past, showcasing discipline and pride.
As part of the celebration, winners of the ABG Inter-School Competition and medalists of the CBSE Regional Science Exhibition were honoured with cash prizes, recognising their excellence and achievements.
In a heartfelt gesture, the school management also felicitated all staff members with letters of appreciation for their dedication and the successful completion of the academic year.
The Investiture Ceremony was held on 3rd July 2025 at Tarangini, marking a significant moment in student leadership at ABPS, Nandyal. The event was inaugurated by Mr. J. Ranga Kumar, FH–HR, P&A, and Manager of the School.
Mrs. Smitha Venu, Principal and Manager, addressed the newly elected Prefectorial Board, encouraging them to lead by example and exhibit true leadership qualities in all their endeavours.
On this proud occasion, Master Uttejh Kumar and Kum. Arshika Chandankhede were formally inducted as the School Head Boy and Head Girl, respectively.
To promote physical well-being and mental harmony, International Yoga Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm on 21st June 2025 at ABPS. Students from Classes VI to XII actively participated in the session, which aimed to instill the importance of yoga in daily life.
The program began with warm-up exercises, followed by the demonstration of various sitting and standing asanas. As students performed each posture, the benefits and significance of the asanas were explained simultaneously, helping them understand the impact of yoga on overall health.
To further reinforce the message, a poster-making competition and a special quiz were conducted, allowing students to creatively and intellectually engage with the theme. The celebration served as a meaningful step towards encouraging a healthy and balanced lifestyle among young learners.
ABPS Nandyal proudly celebrated the 78th Independence Day on 15th August with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour. The event brought together staff, students, and parents to mark 78 glorious years of India’s freedom.
The celebrations commenced at 8:30 a.m. with the flag hoisting ceremony, setting a tone of pride and unity. This was followed by a formal gathering and a vibrant cultural programme showcasing students’ talents and love for the nation.
Mr. Sajendra Kumar J. A., Unit Head and Chairman of ABPS Nandyal, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, inspiring everyone with his presence and words.
A highlight of the event was the inter-house dance competition, which celebrated India’s rich heritage and instilled a strong sense of nationalism among the students.
Gandhi Jayanti was celebrated with great zeal and reverence on 2nd October 2024 to honour the birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi. The principal and teachers paid floral tribute to Bapu, reflecting on his invaluable contributions to India’s freedom struggle and values of peace and non-violence.
Students actively participated in a range of activities including bhajans, inspirational speeches, and planting saplings within the school campus, promoting Gandhiji’s ideals of simplicity and environmental consciousness.
Principal Ma’am addressed the gathering, emphasizing the relevance of Mahatma Gandhi’s ideologies in today’s world and encouraging students to live by his principles of truth, tolerance, and social responsibility.
We were privileged to have our esteemed CEO, Mrs.Jyotsna Saxana's visit to ABPS, Nandyal on 17.07.25. The visit was an inspiring interaction with students and staff, where the CEO appreciated the school's focus on STEM learning, experiential education, and student well-being. Discussions were held on future developmental plans and enhancing academic excellence. The CEO lauded the efforts of the dedicated team and assured continuous support in shaping ABPS as a center of excellence.
Children’s Day and the much-anticipated Alumni Meet – MILAN 2024 were celebrated with great joy and enthusiasm on 14th November 2024, commemorating the birth anniversaries of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru and Shri Aditya Vikram Birla, the visionary founder of the Aditya Birla Group.
In recognition of the pivotal role of sports in a child’s holistic development, the Annual Athletic Meet was also held on the same day at the Dronacharya Cricket Ground. The event saw enthusiastic participation from students in a wide array of fun and competitive activities, including Elephant Walk, Hurdle Race, Three-Legged Race, Lemon & Spoon Race, 50m Race, 8x50m Relay, 100m, 4x100m Relay, 200m, 400m, Long Jump, Shot Put, Discus Throw, and many more. The atmosphere was electric, with cheering parents and motivated participants creating unforgettable memories.
The school also had the pleasure of welcoming its proud alumni as guests of honour. Former students reunited with their teachers, shared fond memories of their school days, and expressed happiness at the remarkable developmental progress and initiatives the school has undertaken over the years.
