The Earth Day 2025 Celebration was held from 22nd to 27th April at ABPS, Veraval. It was a week of environmental enthusiasm with activities such as pot painting, best-out-of-waste craft, plantation drives, and the felicitation of Eco Club members. The event was graced by the presence of the Indian Rayon Environmental Department, teachers, and enthusiastic students
On 2nd May 2025, the school joyfully celebrated “We Care, We Share” Day with students from Nursery to Class II. The event aimed to nurture empathy, compassion, and gratitude in young minds. Heart-touching stories such as The Magic Lunch Box and Two Apples were narrated by teachers to instil the spirit of kindness and the joy of sharing. Children expressed their learning by sharing food with their peers and the support staff, practicing good hygiene, and organizing their efforts with thoughtfulness. The event encouraged care for animals, birds, and the environment, creating lasting impressions on our youngest learners. It reminded us that even the smallest act of kindness is worth more than the grandest intention.
International Yoga Day was celebrated with a three-day yoga programme from 19th to 21st June 2025 at Rhythm Hall. More than 800 students from Classes 3 to 12 participated in structured yoga sessions led by Yoga expert Ms. Aditi Shukla, along with dedicated guidance from sports teachers Mr. Ashish Dhayade and Ms. Divya Ram.
The sessions included prayer, stretching, core yoga asanas, Surya Namaskar, and meditation. The involvement of the Principal, Vice-Principal, teaching and non-teaching staff added to the collective spirit of wellness. Their active participation set a strong example for students to adopt yoga as a part of their daily routine.
The celebration concluded with a collective meditation session, fostering inner peace and mindfulness. The programme successfully promoted physical fitness, mental clarity, and emotional well-being across the school community.
Achievement Ceremony – “कौशलदीपोत्सवः – Story of Fame” (26th June 2025)
The school hosted its grand Achievement Ceremony on 26th June 2025 at Club Rhythm to honour students for their excellence in academics, leadership, and co-curricular endeavours. The event featured a ceremonial lamp lighting, prayer dance, musical band performance, and award distribution, leaving the audience inspired and proud.
A CBSE workshop on Integrity and Ethics was conducted on 1st and 2nd April at Podar International School, Veraval, led by Ms. Rashmi Lohaan and Mr. Jayendra Barad. It was attended by Mr. Ashish Dhayade, Mr. Sanjay Solanki, and Mr. Sangram Behera, focusing on the importance of moral values in personal and professional spheres.
A two-day workshop on Critical and Creative Thinking was held on 4th and 5th April at ABPS, Veraval. Facilitated by Mrs. Rashmi Lohaan and Mr. Kirti Upadhyay, it empowered ABPS faculty to cultivate higher-order thinking skills in students through innovative classroom strategies.
A series of Parent Orientation programs for Pre-primary classes was conducted on 19th and 21st April. Parents were warmly welcomed and introduced to the curriculum, teaching methodologies, and the significance of home-school partnerships in early learning. Parents were elaborated about the implementation of Aditya Experiential Curriculum for Classes Nursery – II, Theme based teaching methodologies through the Mother Teacher Concept and new assessment approaches.
A wellness session titled “Understanding the Psychophysiology of Stress” was conducted by Mr. Adeesh Pandey, Counsellor, ABPS, on 19th April for the teaching staff of ABPS and ABHSS. The session, inspired by Dr. Andrew Huberman’s research, offered insightful practices for managing stress through mindful breathing techniques.
Physical Education Teacher Training Workshop was held on 25th and 26th April at ABPS and UTTC, Chittorgarh. Mr. Ashishkumar Dhayade participated in sessions focused on curriculum planning and the application of Bloom’s Taxonomy in sports education.
A Capacity Building Programme for English Core was hosted on 28th and 29th April at Gujarat Public School, Vadodara. It was facilitated by Ms. Leena Nair and Dr. Rajvi Desai and attended by Mr. Rajesh Kapadia, aiming to enhance pedagogical practices in English language instruction.
The Gen Forum Ed Conclave 2025 was held at ITC Gardenia, Bengaluru. Principal, Mrs. Rashmi Lohaan, and Mr. Mukesh Kumar represented ABPS, Veraval. The conclave focused on hybrid learning and skill-based education techniques for students, with exciting announcement of 100 laptops being allotted to Classes IX-B and VIII-B.
A workshop on School Quality Assessment and Assurance Framework (SQAAF) was conducted on 10th and 11th June 2025 to acquaint staff with CBSE’s quality benchmarks. Through interactive sessions, key areas like curriculum, inclusivity, governance, and beneficiary satisfaction were elaborated. The workshop concluded with a collaborative action plan and clear role assignments for driving school development plan.
The Jagruti Club of ABPS, Veraval donated play equipment on 25th April to two Government Anganwadi Centers, contributing to early childhood care and supporting the ICDS scheme.
