The event included heartfelt speeches, cultural performances and special activities and delicious lunch. Students express their gratitude through performances, speeches and heartfelt gestures, making it a memorable day for all.
The 76th Republic Day was celebrated with great pride and grandeur at ABPS, Awarpur, with Shri P. S. Sriram, UH UTCL, ACW, gracing the occasion as the Chief Guest. The celebration was marked by vibrant patriotic performances by the students, showcasing their love and respect for the nation. In his inspiring address, the Chief Guest emphasized the importance of upholding national values, unity, and responsibilities, motivating students to become responsible citizens and contribute meaningfully to the progress of the country

The Aditya Birla Public School, Awarpur, had the honour of hosting Ms. Jyotsna Saxena, CEO of ABG Schools, on 21st August 2024. She was warmly welcomed by the Principal, staff and Student Council with a traditional ceremony.
A vibrant cultural programme by the students set a celebratory tone for the day. Ms. Saxena toured the campus, visiting the classrooms, laboratories, library, STEM lab and computer rooms, appreciating the facilities and academic environment.
She interacted with parent representatives, senior students and the teaching faculty, offering valuable feedback and motivation. Her discussions focused on academic enhancement, communication and strengthening the school community.
Her visit greatly inspired the entire school community and reaffirmed the commitment to continued excellence.

Every year on 14th November, our school proudly hosts the Alumni Meet, a cherished tradition that brings together generations of students who once walked these very corridors. It is a day of joy, nostalgia, and inspiration, where former students reconnect with their alma mater and share the stories of their journeys—stories that now serve as guiding lights for our current batch.
This day holds even greater significance as it marks the birth anniversary of our esteemed patron, the Late Shri Aditya Vikram Birla ji. A visionary leader and a beacon of excellence, Shri Birla ji’s values continue to shape the ethos of our institution. In his honour, Alumni Day is celebrated not just as a reunion, but as a tribute to the enduring legacy he left behind.
Through heartfelt speeches, engaging interactions, and shared memories, the Alumni Meet becomes a bridge between the past and the future—reminding us all that while time moves forward, the spirit of our school remains timeless.

At The Aditya Birla Public School, Awarpur, the safety and well-being of students remain a top priority. In line with this commitment, a Fire Safety Mock Drill was successfully conducted for the students of Classes VI to XII on Thursday, 25th April 2025, within the school premises.
The objective of the drill was to spread awareness about fire-fighting techniques and to educate students and staff on how to respond promptly and effectively in the event of a fire emergency. The session was conducted in collaboration with the Fire and Safety Department of UTCL, ACW, Awarpur, who brought along essential fire-fighting equipment and conducted live demonstrations for the students.
During the drill, students were sensitized about the importance of quick evacuation procedures, the different classesoffires, and the appropriate methods to extinguish each type. Experts emphasized the fire triangle—heat, fuel, and oxygen—and demonstrated how eliminating any one component can extinguish a fire.
The team elaborated on safety protocols and the Do’s and Don’ts in case of fire, with a live demonstration of the use ofvariousfireextinguishers. Selected students were invited to independently operate fire extinguishers, providing them with hands-on experience. The session concluded with a safety quiz, and the winners were rewarded with gift vouchers worth ₹100

held on April 22, 2025. This year’s theme, “Planet vs. Plastics,” inspired a series of engaging activities aimed at raising awareness about environmental
conservation and fostering a sense of responsibility among our students toward preserving our planet. The day was marked by enthusiasm,
creativity, and a collective commitment
to making Earth a better place for future generations.
The Earth Day activities were designed with the following goals:
· To educate students about the importance of environmental conservation and sustainable practices.
· To encourage active participation in eco-friendly initiatives.
· To instill a sense of responsibility and ownership toward protecting Mother Earth.
· To inspire students to adopt sustainable habits in their daily lives.

On 1st May 2025, ABPS, Awarpur celebrated Maharashtra Day and Labour Day with great enthusiasm and respect. The event was organized to honor the formation of the state of Maharashtra and to recognize the contributions of workers in society. Ms. Sonal Singh Parihar was the Master of the Ceremony.
· The program began with a floral welcome by the coordinators, Ms. Sunita Narula & Mr. Devidas Mohurley to the chief guest Shri. Namit Mishra - FH-HR & Secretary of Nalanda EducationSociety. Mr. N.D Tiwari, Mr. Satish Mishra, & Mr. Wankhede were the dignitaries present. The event followed the hoisting of the national flag followed by the Maharashtra state song "Jai Jai Maharashtra Maza."
· Mrs. Vibha Matte delivered an inspiring speech in Marathi language, highlighting the significance of Maharashtra Day, recounting the historical formation of the state in 1960.
· The significance of International Labor Day was addressed by Mrs. Jyoti Reddy, as the day serves as a reminder of the rights, dignity, and value of all workers and promotes respect for their role in building and sustaining society. It also encourages fair working conditions, equality, and social justice.
· The chief guest addressed the gathering by throwing light on the event that, Maharashtra has always stood as a beacon of progress, resilience, and cultural richness. our state’s legacy continues to inspire generations. Its contribution to industry, education, arts, and governance is unparalleled.
· He also emphasized to respect the farmers for their contribution, for the progress of our nation. Let us take this day as a reminder to uphold the values in our daily work and continue contributing meaningfully to our community and nation.
· The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Ms. Monica Rana. The celebration instilled a sense of pride, gratitude, and responsibility among the staff.

As part of its commitment to student safety and holistic education, The Aditya Birla Public School, Awarpur, in collaboration with the Electrical Department of ACW, UTCL, conducted an Electrical Safety Awareness Session. The initiative aimed to educate students on the safe and responsible use of electricity in daily life. The session began with a warm welcome extended to the visiting team from the Electrical and Safety Departments, including Mr. Vijendra Dewangan, Mr. Harshal Shinde, Ms. Zara Khan (E&I), Mr. Ankit Padle, and Mr. Ramu Kosle (Safety).
Salient Features: The session was both informative and engaging, covering a wide range of essential safety topics:
Safe handling of electrical appliances. Dangers of overloaded sockets and wet hands near switches. Identifying faulty wiring and sparking.

In alignment with the Central Board of Secondary Education’s (CBSE) recent directiveto install “Sugar Boards” in affiliated schools, The Aditya Birla Public School, Awarpur
organized an awareness session to educate students on the health risks associated withexcessive sugar consumption. This initiative is part of CBSE’s broader campaign to
combat lifestyle diseases such as juvenile diabetes, obesity, and heart ailments among school-aged children.
The session commenced with a warm welcome extended to Dr. Babita Narula, Chief Medical Officer, ACW UTCL, and Sister Roslin, by the School Principal Mr. Sanjeet
Soni, who presented a floral bouquet as a gesture of appreciation.
Dr. Narula led the session, highlighting the alarming rise in juvenile diabetes and the importance of preventive health measures. She explained the clinical aspects of Diabetes Mellitus, emphasizing the role of insulin deficiency and the distinction between obese and non-obese cases. Key medical indicators such as fasting blood sugar levels (70–100 mg/dl), postprandial levels (<140 mg/dl), and HbA1c (<5.7%) were discussed to help students understand the benchmarks of healthy sugar levels.

The Investiture Ceremony for the academic session 2025–2026 was held with solemnity and spiritedenthusiasm on July 30, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Spandan Hall, The Aditya Birla Public School, Awarpur. This significant occasion marked the formal induction of the newly elected Student Council members and was a proud moment for the entire school community. The ceremony was graced by the presence of the Chief Guest, Mr. Sriram PS, Unit Head of UTCL, Awarpur, and Mrs. Sudha Sriram, President of Sayyoni Ladies Club. Also, in attendance were esteemed Functional Heads & their spouses, DHs, proud parents of the council members students and members of the ABPS teaching fraternity. The event commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, symbolizing the dispelling of ignorance and the ushering in of wisdom and enlightenment.A soulful rendition of the Aditya Vandana followed, setting a serene and reverent tone for the proceedings. The Welcome Address was delivered by the Principal, Mr. Sanjeet Soni, who emphasized the importance of leadership, responsibility, and service. He congratulated the newly elected council members and encouraged them to uphold the values and ethos of the institution.
The highlight of the ceremony was the Badge and Sash Presentation, wherein the Head Boy, HeadGirl, Sports Captain, Cultural Captain, Assembly Prefect, House Captains, and other council members were formally invested with their insignia by the Chief Guest and Guest of Honour in the presence of the dignitaries and august gathering. This symbolic gesture represented the delegation of authority, and the trust placed in the young leaders.The Oath-Taking Ceremony followed, administered by the Principal, ABPS, Awarpur. The council members pledged to perform their duties with integrity, discipline, and a spirit of service, reaffirming their commitment to the school’s ideals. To commemorate the occasion, students from Classes V to VII presented a vibrant group dance performance, which added a celebratory flair to the event and was met with enthusiastic applause. In his address to the gathering, the Chief Guest, Mr. Sriram PS emphasized the need for transformative leadership in a rapidly evolving world. He highlighted that true leaders must embody teamwork, empathy, intelligence, and resilience, while adapting to emerging challenges. Urging the student council to lead with humility and foresight, he stressed that leadership today requires a forward-thinking mindset, the ability to inspire change, and a commitment to serve with integrity.
The ceremony concluded with a Vote of Thanks, expressing gratitude to the Chief Guest, dignitaries, faculty members, students, and the organizing committee for their invaluable contributions to the success of the event. Special appreciation was extended to the volunteers whose efforts ensured the smooth execution of the ceremony. Despite inclement weather, the celebration seamlessly transitioned to Spandan Hall (MPH), showcasing the school’s exemplary planning and adaptability. The program commenced with a ceremonial welcome for the esteemed Chief Guest, Shri Sriram P.S., President and Unit Head, UTCL, ACW, Awarpur accompanied by the school band’s stirring patriotic tunes. The programme was graced by the presence of Ms. Sudha Sriram, President, Sayyoni Ladies Club, along with Members of the School Managing Committee, representatives of the Nalanda Education Society, Functional Heads (FHs), Departmental Heads (DHs), proud parents, enthusiastic students, and the dedicated staff of ABPS, Awarpur. The celebration commenced with a formal welcome of the esteemed guest, followed by a solemn tribute to Major Dhyan Chand. Our respected Principal, garlanded the portrait of the hockey icon, marking the beginning of the event with dignity and respect.
A captivating presentation on Major Dhyan Chand’s life and legacy was then showcased, offering students valuable insights into his journey, discipline, and dedication to Indian hockey. The presentation served as a powerful source of inspiration, instilling in students the virtues of perseverance, commitment, and excellence. In his address to the gathering, the Principal emphasized the transformative role of sports in shaping character, fostering discipline, and promoting teamwork. He also highlighted the importance of physical fitness and a balanced diet, encouraging students to actively engage in The highlight of the event was a friendly Chess match, which saw enthusiastic participation from students across various classes.
