Message From Principal's Desk

Message From Principals Desk

“When you educate one person you can change a life, when you educate many, you can change the world.”

In its early stages, the human mind is a coarse grain of sand, recurring a nurturing shell of a broad spectrum of earning opportunities and experiences. It eventually gets nourished into nature's most gifted pearl of creative ideas, knowledge and critical thinking that ever revolutionised the world.

I am extremely sanguine that Sardar Patel Vidyalaya, since its genesis in two decades, has offered itself as a shell for sheltering and fostering human minds in their raw state to be matured into empowered innovators, and discoverers. The wheel of excellence and continual progress has been steered with values and conventions as its fulcrum; quality education, constant improvement in infrastructure, educational technology, teaching and learning processes as its spokes to fortify innumerable efforts to set the wheel on its track.

The need of the hour is to root students firmly in an enabling and constructive work ethics for their meaningful blossoming. The four edifices of learning act as a springboard for honing skills and harnessing unbound talents of young learners with unique needs. The school administration has been able to create a balance between quality and quantity as may be the popular belief.

“You can teach a student a lesson for a day; but if you can teach him to learn by creating curiosity, he will continue the learning process as long as he lives.”

With this motivation quote by Clay P. Bedford, we are continuously striving to develop curiosity in our learners and indulge them in critical thinking about the surrounding world and the society. They are motivated to learn through active learning, learner – centred, experiential learning and through co-curricular activities, which unknowingly is developing their skills for their sustenance in the super technologically developed future. In the coming years, it will be the need of the hour for the learners to develop their critical and creative thinking, social and emotional skills. It is also necessary to make the future generations sensitive towards the critical issues like global warming, terrorism, unemployment, poverty etc. so that they can try to solve these issues and make the world a better place to live in. To fulfil this aim of holistic development, we are engaging the learners in fun – learn activities.

Wishing all the students a happy learning.
