On 15 August 2025, ABHS Muri celebrated the 79th Independence Day with patriotic fervour. The programme began with flag hoisting and March Past, followed by inspiring speeches and performances. Students in tricolour sang songs and presented skits honouring freedom fighters.
On 5 September, ABHS Muri celebrated Teachers’ Day with great respect and gratitude. Senior students took charge as teachers for a day, while a special assembly featured speeches, songs, and performances honouring the dedication of our mentors.
ABHS Muri celebrated Janmashtami 2025 with devotion and joy. The campus was beautifully decorated. Students presented vibrant dances, soulful bhajans, and an energetic Dahi Handi competition, while recitations of Lord Krishna’s teachings added a spiritual and dimension to the festivities.
On 7 March 2025, ABG Schools warmly hosted Dr. Manoj Kumar Gupta, Regional Head–Higher Education, ABMCPL. He interacted with students, teachers, and leaders, appreciating initiatives and reinforcing ABG Schools’ commitment to academic excellence, innovation, and meaningful stakeholder collaboration and growth.
The District Education Officer (DEO) visited the school to oversee preparations for the switch from Jharkhand State Board to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The DEO inspected the facilities, reviewed documentation, and interacted with the school staff, appreciating the efforts towards meeting CBSE norms. The visit marks a significant step in the transition process, bringing the school closer to offering students a broader academic platform aligned with national standards.
Our school celebrated Gandhi Jayanti and Lal Bahadur Shastri Jayanti with great enthusiasm. To commemorate these iconic leaders, we embarked on a cleanliness drive as part of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. Students and staff participated in a rally, cleaning the surrounding areas of our school. This initiative not only promoted a sense of community service but also reinforced the values of cleanliness and responsibility.
November 14th is all about celebrating childhood. A day of nostalgia and reunion, Alumni Day brings together former students who share their experiences and achievements. Interactive sessions, games, and cultural performances strengthen the bond between past and present students, inspiring the younger generation.
As the year draws to a close, the spirit of Christmas fills the air. A beautifully decorated Christmas tree, melodious carol singing, and the eagerly awaited visit from Santa Claus bring immense joy to students. Nativity plays depicting the birth of Jesus Christ, along with messages of love, peace, and kindness, make the celebration truly meaningful and memorable.
The school celebrated India's 77th Republic Day on January 26, 2026, with spectacular festivities. The celebrations began with flag hoisting and the National Anthem, followed by a disciplined March Past, vibrant cultural dance performances, and inspiring patriotic songs. The entire ceremony filled students and staff with immense pride, honoring our nation's Constitution and democratic values.
ABHS Muri successfully conducted its Annual Sports Day on 26 January 2026, with enthusiastic participation from students of Nursery to Class 12. The events followed SGFI rules, included special competitions for parents, and promoted fitness, teamwork, sportsmanship, and community involvement.
Dedicated to Goddess Saraswati, the festival marks the arrival of spring and the celebration of wisdom and knowledge. Students wear yellow, offer prayers, and participate in cultural programs. Kite flying and traditional music add to the festive spirit.
ABHS(+2), Muri held its Investiture Ceremony for the School Cabinet with formal oath taking, badge distribution, and pledge of responsibility. Student leaders committed to integrity, discipline, and service while the Principal urged teamwork, accountability, and responsible leadership.
A comprehensive fire safety training session was organized on dated 17 April 2025 at the school for students of classes 6 to 12, teaching staff, and non-teaching staff. The program aimed to enhance awareness and preparedness for fire emergencies across the entire school community.
Students joined hands with Hindalo Industries to celebrate World Earth Day 2025 under the global theme “Our Power, Our Planet”, emphasizing renewable energy and sustainable practices. The event aimed to empower young minds to take proactive steps toward environmental conservation.
