Independence Day

On 15 August 2025, ABHS Muri celebrated the 79th Independence Day with patriotic fervour. The programme began with flag hoisting and March Past, followed by inspiring speeches and performances. Students in tricolour sang songs and presented skits honouring freedom fighters.

Teachers’ Day

On 5 September, ABHS Muri celebrated Teachers’ Day with great respect and gratitude. Senior students took charge as teachers for a day, while a special assembly featured speeches, songs, and performances honouring the dedication of our mentors.

Janmashtami Day

ABHS Muri celebrated Janmashtami 2025 with devotion and joy. The campus was beautifully decorated. Students presented vibrant dances, soulful bhajans, and an energetic Dahi Handi competition, while recitations of Lord Krishna’s teachings added a spiritual and dimension to the festivities.

RH’s Visit

On 7 March 2025, ABG Schools warmly hosted Dr. Manoj Kumar Gupta, Regional Head–Higher Education, ABMCPL. He interacted with students, teachers, and leaders, appreciating initiatives and reinforcing ABG Schools’ commitment to academic excellence, innovation, and meaningful stakeholder collaboration and growth.

Visit 2 DEO’s Visit for School’s Transition to CBSE.

The District Education Officer (DEO) visited the school to oversee preparations for the switch from Jharkhand State Board to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The DEO inspected the facilities, reviewed documentation, and interacted with the school staff, appreciating the efforts towards meeting CBSE norms. The visit marks a significant step in the transition process, bringing the school closer to offering students a broader academic platform aligned with national standards.

Gandhi Jayanti/Lal Bahadur Shastri Jayanti

Our school celebrated Gandhi Jayanti and Lal Bahadur Shastri Jayanti with great enthusiasm. To commemorate these iconic leaders, we embarked on a cleanliness drive as part of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. Students and staff participated in a rally, cleaning the surrounding areas of our school. This initiative not only promoted a sense of community service but also reinforced the values of cleanliness and responsibility.

Children’s Day/Alumni day

November 14th is all about celebrating childhood. A day of nostalgia and reunion, Alumni Day brings together former students who share their experiences and achievements. Interactive sessions, games, and cultural performances strengthen the bond between past and present students, inspiring the younger generation.

Christmas Gathering

As the year draws to a close, the spirit of Christmas fills the air. A beautifully decorated Christmas tree, melodious carol singing, and the eagerly awaited visit from Santa Claus bring immense joy to students. Nativity plays depicting the birth of Jesus Christ, along with messages of love, peace, and kindness, make the celebration truly meaningful and memorable.

Republic Day

The school celebrated India's 77th Republic Day on January 26, 2026, with spectacular festivities. The celebrations began with flag hoisting and the National Anthem, followed by a disciplined March Past, vibrant cultural dance performances, and inspiring patriotic songs. The entire ceremony filled students and staff with immense pride, honoring our nation's Constitution and democratic values.

Annual Sport’s Day

ABHS Muri successfully conducted its Annual Sports Day on 26 January 2026, with enthusiastic participation from students of Nursery to Class 12. The events followed SGFI rules, included special competitions for parents, and promoted fitness, teamwork, sportsmanship, and community involvement.

Basant Panchami Celebration

Dedicated to Goddess Saraswati, the festival marks the arrival of spring and the celebration of wisdom and knowledge. Students wear yellow, offer prayers, and participate in cultural programs. Kite flying and traditional music add to the festive spirit.

Each celebration at our school fosters a sense of belonging, cultural awareness, and joy. These moments become cherished memories, reminding us that education is not just about books but also about experiencing and embracing the beauty of life's tradition

Investiture Ceremony (School Cabinet Installation)

ABHS(+2), Muri held its Investiture Ceremony for the School Cabinet with formal oath taking, badge distribution, and pledge of responsibility. Student leaders committed to integrity, discipline, and service while the Principal urged teamwork, accountability, and responsible leadership.

Fire Safety Training Conducted for Students and Staff.

A comprehensive fire safety training session was organized on dated 17 April 2025 at the school for students of classes 6 to 12, teaching staff, and non-teaching staff. The program aimed to enhance awareness and preparedness for fire emergencies across the entire school community.

World Earth Day Celebration

Students joined hands with Hindalo Industries to celebrate World Earth Day 2025 under the global theme “Our Power, Our Planet”, emphasizing renewable energy and sustainable practices. The event aimed to empower young minds to take proactive steps toward environmental conservation.

CPR & First Aid Training

ABHS (+2) School, Muri organized a CPR and First Aid training session for teachers, covering emergency response, basic resuscitation, and medical crisis management. The hands-on, interactive workshop enhanced readiness, confidence, and swift action, reaffirming the school’s commitment to student safety.

Career Counselling Session (Classes 8 to 12 Std.) on Indian Navy

ABHS (+2) School, Muri, in association with Hindalco Industries Limited, organized a career counselling session for Classes 8–12 at Alumni Hall. Commodore Shri Rituraj Sahu, VSM, guided students on careers in the Indian Navy, emphasizing discipline, leadership, and technical excellence.

Environmental Day Celebration

On 5th June 2025, ABHS (+2) School, Muri celebrated World Environment Day with a plantation drive, awareness rally, and poster competition. Students pledged to conserve water, reduce plastic, protect biodiversity, and adopt sustainable habits for a greener, cleaner future ahead.

Menstrual Hygiene and PCOS awareness: Dt. 01.08.2025

On 1st August 2025, ABHS (+2) School, Muri organized an awareness session on Menstrual Hygiene and PCOS led by Dr. Neetu Kumari Sinha. She explained hygiene practices and PCOS symptoms. About 170 students participated, gaining confidence, clarity, and health awareness.

Cyber Security Awareness Programme

Cyber Security Awareness Programme was organised by the IT Department, HIL, Muri for students of Classes IX to XII. The session aimed to create awareness about safe internet practices, cyber threats, and responsible use of digital platforms. Students were briefed on password safety, cyber fraud, and online security measures.

Awareness Session on Sanitary Napkin Hygiene

On 2nd December 2025, an awareness session on Sanitary Napkin Hygiene and Safe Disposal was conducted for girls of Classes 6–12 by Ms. Baishali Ash and Ms. Neha Dutta. They emphasized proper usage, safe disposal, health risks, and environmental impacts of careless practices.

Medical Check-Up Classes Nursery to XII

From 15th to 17th October 2025, the Occupational Health Centre (OHC), HIL, Muri conducted routine medical check-ups for students from Nursery to XII to assess overall health, identify potential health issues early, and promote awareness of hygiene, nutrition, and well-being among students.

Report on Visit of Unit HR Head

Mr. Paresh Chandra Dholey, Unit HR Head, was warmly welcomed by Principal and escorted to the entrance gate by the Student Council. At the entrance, Miss Suman of Class 9 and Ms. Baishali Ash, English Teacher, extended a traditional welcome by applying a tilak and presenting a bouquet to our newly appointed.
