Republic Day Celebration: 2025–26
The 77th Republic Day celebration was jointly celebrated by Vikram Cement Works and Aditya Birla Schools with great enthusiasm, joy, and dignity at Aryaman ground.
The Chief Guest of the programme, Mr. Avasa Mishra (Unit Head – Vikram Cement Works and Chairman, Aditya Birla Schools), unfurled the national flag. Thereafter, the students and contingent from the Vikram Cement security department presented a grand march-past to the tune of the school band and saluted the national flag.
On this occasion, the school presented a tableau on environmental awareness titled “Zero Waste – Big Impact,” which was highly appreciated by all. Through Bamboo drill, the students highlighted the importance of physical exercise, discipline, teamwork, self-confidence, and fitness. The students also captivated the audience with patriotic cultural performances.
The Chief Guest, Mr. Avasa Mishra, greeted the gathering and urged the students to discharge their duties towards the nation with honesty and integrity, and to keep moving forward with positive thinking and continuous progress. He also gave a detailed account of innovations taking place in the fields of technology, production, employee welfare, and social welfare. On this occasion, students who performed outstandingly in academics, sports, science, and cultural competitions were also felicitated by the chief guest.
Awareness Sessions
As part of the school’s continuous efforts to promote holistic development, students' well-being, and career preparedness, the school organized a series of structured guidance and awareness programmes for students of Classes 6 to 12 during the academic session.
First Aid : A First Aid Training Programme was conducted by Dr. Vinod ( Vikram Hospital) for students of Classes 6 to 12 with the objective of enhancing awareness of health, safety, and emergency preparedness.
Students were trained in basic first aid techniques, handling minor injuries, and responding effectively during medical emergencies. The programme aimed at developing life skills, confidence, and a sense of responsibility among students.
Adolescent Female Health: - To address adolescent health concerns, a Female Health and Adolescence Awareness Counselling Session was organized for girls of Classes 6 to 12. The session was conducted by Dr. Priti Anamd (MS, Vikram Hospital) focussing on physical and emotional changes during adolescence, menstrual hygiene, nutrition, and personal well-being.
The session provided a safe, supportive, and informative environment, enabling students to seek guidance and clarify doubts related to health and adolescence.
Ergonomics- An awareness session was conducted with the support of a qualified physiotherapist Dr. Merlin Mathew. The session aimed to promote awareness about correct posture, ergonomics, and healthy physical habits among students.
The physiotherapist guided students on proper seating posture, safe use of digital devices, backpack ergonomics, and simple exercises to prevent physical strain and injuries. Practical demonstrations were included to help students adopt healthy practices in daily life.

Career Guidance Programmes - In order to support students in making informed academic and career choices, a Career Counselling Programme was conducted for students of Classes 9 to 12 by Dr. Mukul Bindra (MS). The session guided students on subject selection, higher education pathways, emerging career opportunities, and skill development in accordance with their interests, aptitudes, and future goals.
These initiatives reflect the school’s commitment to student safety, health awareness, emotional well-being, and career guidance. The programmes significantly contributed to the overall development and preparedness of students.
An Alumni Meet was organized at Aditya Birla Higher Secondary School, Khor on 14 November 2025, in which many former students of the school participated. The programme began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp. Followed by cultural programmes presented by present students.
The Principal welcomed the alumni and wished them all success and bright future. On this occasion, the alumni shared their experiences and expressed their gratitude to the teachers and the management. They shared about their efforts, innovations, and achievements in their professional careers, and also emphasized the essential skills required by students in the present time. They advised the school to adopt innovative practices to prepare students for the future.
The Principal and teachers expressed their happiness on hearing about the achievements of the alumni. The programme concluded with the presentation of mementos.
Athletica 2026, the annual athletic meet of the school, was successfully organised on 16th January 2026 at the Aaryaman Ground. The event was conducted with great enthusiasm and sportsman spirit for students from Classes III to XII.
The programme began at 9:30 a.m. with the formal march past, followed by the ceremonial hoisting of the flag. The participants displayed discipline, coordination, and confidence, setting a positive tone for the entire event. The event was graced by the Principal, Ms Rinku Banerjee, who inspired the students with her encouraging words, highlighting the importance of physical fitness, teamwork, and character building in sports.
A variety of track and field events, along with team games, were organised according to different age groups. Students actively participated in events such as sprints, relays, jump, throws and other athletic competitions. The competitions were conducted smoothly under the guidance of teachers and volunteers, ensuring fairness and safety.
The ground echoed with cheers as students supported their respective houses. The atmosphere was filled with excitement, energy, and healthy competition. Winners and participants were appreciated for their efforts, determination, and sportsmanship.
The event concluded with the prize distribution ceremony, where medals and certificates were awarded to the winners. Athletica 2026 proved to be a grand success and reinforced the school’s commitment to holistic development through sports and co-curricular activities.
