International Yoga Day is observed on 21 June, in our school with great significance, promoting physical, mental, and emotional well-being among students and staff. Through guided sessions and awareness programs, the importance of incorporating yoga into daily life is emphasized. The celebration fosters mindfulness, discipline, and a healthy lifestyle, aligning with our commitment to holistic education and overall student development.
The Handicraft Workshop is an enriching initiative of our school, aimed at fostering creativity, cultural appreciation, and skill development among students. It provides hands-on experience in traditional and contemporary crafts, enhancing fine motor skills, focus, and artistic expression. Such workshops encourage innovation, sustainability, and self-reliance, contributing to the holistic development of students while nurturing their appreciation for art and craftsmanship. Students participated in a three day interactive session from 17 June to 19 June, conducted in collaboration with the Textile Department, Government of India.
Our school Investiture Ceremony is a significant event that marks the formal induction of the student council and leaders into their roles of responsibility. It symbolizes the trust and confidence the school places in its students. Through this solemn occasion, leadership, accountability, and service are instilled, empowering students to contribute meaningfully to the school’s vision and uphold its values with integrity. ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ is a heartfelt initiative that encourages students to plant a tree in honour of their mothers, symbolizing love, respect, and environmental responsibility. This meaningful activity fosters emotional connection, gratitude, and ecological awareness.
By their participation on 21 July, students not only celebrated motherhood but also contributed to a greener, healthier environment for future generations.
Under the guidance of Mr. Sagar Pandya, our students Eklavya Chandapa, Atharva Trivedi, Harsh Visavadiya, Hitanshu Mavadhiya and Keval Aparnathi participated and secured positions in the State Level Science Carnival 2025, organised by Govt. Science College, Veraval. They received memento, school bag certificate and a kit. Our school Stem Quest team qualified in the top 12 teams of ABG Schools Stem Quest after three rounds of rigorous evaluation. The team got an opportunity to visit ISRO and some Startups in Bangalore in July.

Our students Shree Akhiya, Haritri Chudasama, Heer Chawla, Kavya Singh and Kavya Zala participated in state level Anuvrat Creativity Contest and secured first position. They also showcased their musical aptitude at the national level in the event organised by Anuvrat Vishwa Bharati Society at Surat, on 5 – 6 November, 2024.
Our school was privileged to welcome Ma’am Jyotsana Saxena, CEO ABG Schools, on 2 August, 2024. During her visit, the administrative and educational functioning, and the qualitative facilities of the school were evaluated and assessed. The CEO emphasized the importance of professional development for teachers to maintain high teaching standards.
For second consecutive year, ABHSS Veraval remains the proud recipient of the winner’s trophy for its initiative towards eco-friendly practices and waste management. Principal Mr. Yogesh Paliwal, received the trophy from Ma’am Rajashree Birla at the Principal’s workshop at Gyanodaya, Mumbai.
Embarking on the new chapter of planned infrastructural development of the school, the new building, comprising classrooms and washrooms was inaugurated on 2 December. On the auspicious occasion, a puja invoking the blessings of the divine power was held in the new building attended by the staff and students of the school
ABHSS Veraval secured second position in ABG Schools One Act Play, based on the theme ‘Advocacy: A Stand against Exclusion.’ The players were Priyanshi Bhambhami, Unnati Jethwani, Keshvi Chudasama, Khushi Mehta, Saumya Lalwani, Suraj Chauhan and Jemeen Jethwa.
Adding to their achievements, another commendable accolade was conferred on ABHSS, Veraval for lifting the winner’s trophy in ABG Photography Competition Senior category (Photographer Ansh S. Pal IX-C), based on the theme ‘Inclusion: Amidst the vibrant tapestry of inclusion, friendships blossom, stereotypes fade away.
Ma'am Nita Menon, RH, ABG Schools, along with Mr. Sunil Singh, Principal ABPS Nagda, Dr. CRK Mohan, Principal ABPS Hirmi, and Ms. Arshiya Rehman, Vice Principal ABPS Gulbarga, reviewed the various departments and shared extensive & experiential feedback.
In District level Science Exhibition organised by District Education and Training Institute, Gir Somnath, Keval Aparnathi and Hitanshu Mavadhiya (VIII-A) secured First position for their project ‘EVO DRONE’ and qualified for State level. Zeel Sodha IX-B and Vivek Patat IX-C also presented their project. The escort teachers were Mr. Sagar Pandya and Ms. Daksha Bhola.
