Special Days Celebration

Participating in these special days fosters inclusivity by honoring diverse traditions, cultures, and communities, helping students appreciate and respect different perspectives. Such observances create a sense of belonging and shared responsibility for the world, whether it is through environmental initiatives on Environment Day, promoting well-being on International Yoga Day, or encouraging scientific curiosity on National Science Day. They not only raise awareness but also instill empathy, compassion, and civic responsibility, ultimately strengthening the moral fabric of the school and preparing students to be active, engaged, and socially responsible global citizens.

World Environment Day:

Our school celebrated World Environment Day on 5th June with great enthusiasm and awareness. The main aim of the program was to make students and teachers more conscious about protecting the environment and preserving nature for future generations.

Teachers actively participated in a tree plantation drive within the school campus, planting saplings of Bougainvillea and learning about the importance of trees in reducing pollution and maintaining ecological balance.

World Yoga Day:

Our school celebrated International Yoga Day with great enthusiasm and zeal on 21st June. The event aimed to raise awareness among students about the importance of yoga in maintaining a healthy body and mind. The program began early in the morning on the school assembly ground, where all students, teachers, and staff members gathered with their yoga mats. It started with a short speech by our principal, who highlighted the significance of yoga in daily life and encouraged everyone to make it a regular habit. A yoga instructor was invited to guide the session, leading participants through various postures and breathing exercises.

The celebration was a great success, leaving everyone feeling refreshed and motivated to practice yoga regularly. It served as a reminder that yoga is not just about exercise, but a way to achieve harmony between the body, mind, and spirit.

National Reading Day:

“Reading without reflecting is like eating without digesting.” – Edmund Burke

Instilling a love for reading in young minds is essential, as the science of reading lies in the science of learning. Reading promotes creativity, imagination, and curiosity.

Students from Classes II to X participated in a variety of engaging activities, including book swaps, interviewing the librarian, book review displays, character portrayals, poetry writing, and many more.
