Sports Activities
ABPS Kumarapatnam, takes immense pride in the outstanding sportsmanship, dedication, and perseverance demonstrated by its students across Taluka, District, State, National, and ABG-level competitions during the academic year 2024–25.
With participation in various sporting disciplines and competitive events, our school continues to uphold a strong tradition of holistic development through sports.
Achievements
State level Achievements:
Miss. Siya Dharmaraj Butta of Class VII B participated in the State Ranking Tennis Tournament in the Under-12 (Girls) category.
Master. Pratham M of class VIII A participated in the State level Mini Football Olympic.
National level Achievements:
Miss. Preethi P K of Class IV participated in the National level Taekwondo.
ABG National Chess Tournament:
Master. Karthik P of Class IX (Under-17) and Master. A Jusswin Kumar of Class VII (Under-14) participated in the ABG National Chess Tournament held in Kumarapatnam, Karnataka, on 18th and 19th October.
ABG Competitions:
Aditya Birla Group (ABG) Competitions are prestigious platforms that encourage innovation, leadership, and strategic thinking among students and professionals. These contests provide participants with opportunities to solve real-world business challenges, showcase their talents, and gain exposure to the dynamic world of ABG’s diverse businesses. They serve as a gateway for young minds to engage, learn, and stand out as future leaders.
The ABPS Kumarapatnam team emerged as Winners of the Inter-ABG Dance Competition on the theme “Planet Pulse”. The winning team members are Miss Prerana M, Miss Mandara H S, Miss Inchara G K, Miss Druthi M, Miss Prerana S S, Miss Soumya Patil, Miss Namitha Rani J H, Miss Varsha V P, Miss Mahalakshmi K B, Miss Nireeksha D K, and Miss Debjani Dey.
Master. Devakk Sharma of Class VIII secured the First Runner-Up position in the Inter-ABG Schools Photography Competition on the theme “A Tunnel to Starvation".
Miss. Jyothi N C of Class IX secured the Second Runner-Up position in the Inter-ABG Schools Painting Competition.
Student Participation in External Competitions
The school also encourages participation in various external competitions such as Olympiads, Vidyarthi Vigyaan Manthan, CBSE Regional Science exhibition, Aryabhatt Ganit Challenge. As on date, we have a total of 631 students who participated in various external competitions for this academic year.
Miss Yashika Yaligar of class VI has qualified to participate in the state level camp of Vidyarthi Vigyaan Manthan at Bangalore conducted by CBSE.
Two students, Master Yashwanth Patil and Master Samanyu S.H. have qualified for the national level of CBSE Science exhibition which will be held in Delhi in January 2025.
Three students of our school, Master Saijith Hegde of Class X, Master Dheeraj M.G. and Miss. Saniya R.G. of Class IX had participated in the CBSE Heritage India Quiz and had made it to the regional final which was held at BGS Public School, Bangalore.
