Teachers Day Celebrations

Teachers’ Day was celebrated in the school with great fun and entertainment. Activities of the entire day were organized by Students of classes X, XI and XII. The function began by paying floral tribute to Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan and it was followed by games and different cultural activities.

Sri Krishnastami Celebration

ABPS, Nandyal celebrated Sri Krishna Janmashtami on 24^th August 2024. Children of Kindergarten turned up in the school as Krishna and Radha. They took part in different activities such as Dandiya and Dahi-handi with great zeal and enthusiasm.  

Republic Day Celebrations

The 76th Republic Day was celebrated in all its solemnity and grandeur in Dhronacharya Stadium, UTCL Township on 26th January 2025.

Mr. Rama Rao., (FH Technical, APCW) the chief guest of the day, unfurled the National Flag and it was followed by the National Anthem.

To mark the importance of this day, a grand celebration was held in the township and many activities were held.

Students of Aditya Birla Public School, Nandyal also actively took part in the programme and the school echoed with patriotic fervour as the students presented a musical drama which elevated the patriotic fervour among the audience. The NCC cadets of ABPS, Nandyal were also part of the March Past.ABG inter school competition, CBSE Regional Science Exhibition medal winners also were awarded with cash prize on the same day.  

besides, school management felicitated all the staff members with an appreciation letter for their dedication and successful completion of the academic year. 

Investiture Ceremony

The day was held on 03 July 2025 in tarangini and it was inaugurated by Mr.J. Ranga Kumar, FH- HR, P&A, the Manager of the school. Mrs.Smitha Venu, Principal and the Manager advised the prefectorial board to showcase their leadership skills.

Master Uttehj Kumar, Kum.Arshika Chandankhede were selected as the school Head Boy and Head Girl respectively. 

International Yoga Day

To harmonize students with sound physical health Yoga Day was celebrated on 21 June 2025. Students of Classes VI to XII were demonstrated various asanas. Warm up exercises were taken and all the students performed sitting and standing asanas and importance and benefits of these were explained simultaneously. Poster making, A Special quiz also conducted to imbibe the importance of yoga in our day to day life to the students.

Independence Day Celebrations

78th Independence Day has been celebrated in ABPS Nandyal with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour on 15th August with the staff, students and parents to mark the 78th year of freedom.

 The program started at 8.30 a.m. with flag hoisting. It was followed by formal function and cultural program. Mr. Sajendra Kumar J A, Unit Head & Chairman of ABPS, Nandyal was invited as the chief guest of the program. There was an inter-house dance competition which imbibed the spirit of nationality.  

Gandhi Jayanthi Celebrations

Gandhi Jayanthi was celebrated on 2nd October 2024 with great zeal and enthusiasm. Principal and Teachers paid homage to the father of the nation. Students participated in various activities like bhajans, speeches, and planting saplings in the school premises. Principal Ma’am talked to the students on the importance of the day and upholding the ideology of Mahathma Gandhi in the present scenario.

CEO's Visit: Strengthening Our Path to Excellence

The Aditya Birla Public School, Nandyal, had the honour of hosting Ms. Jyotsna Saxena, CEO of ABG Schools, on 17th July 2025.We were privileged to have our esteemed CEO, Mrs.Jyotsna Saxana's visit to  ABPS, Nandyal on 17.07.25. The visit was an inspiring interaction with students and staff, where the CEO appreciated the school's focus on STEM learning, experiential education, and student well-being. Discussions were held on future developmental plans and enhancing academic excellence. The CEO lauded the efforts of the dedicated team and assured continuous support in shaping ABPS as a center of excellence.

Annual Sports Meet

Children’s day and Alumni Meet (MILAN 2024) was celebrated with fun and frolic on 14 November 2024 on the birth anniversaries of pandit Jawaharlal Nehru and shri Aditya Vikram Birla, the founder of Aditya Birla Group respectively.

In recognition of the importance of sports in a child’s life, Annual Athletic Meet was held on 14 November 2024 in Dronacharya cricket ground.Children participated in large numbers in engaging and innovative events like Elephant walk, hurdle race, 3 Leg Race, Lemon & Spoon Race, 50 mtr. Race, 8x50 m. Relay, 100 m, 4x100 Mtr, 200Mtr, 400Mtr, Long jump, shot put, discuss any many more which got the parents cheering. Alumni of the school were invited as guest of the event and interacted with all teachers and recollected their memories. They felt very happy about the developmental activities being carried out over the years.

Awareness Programs

Throughout the year, ABPS Nandyal organizes various awareness sessions on topics good and bad touch, Fire safety ,Nukkat Natak on Water pollution, Campaign on “Conservation drive”, “Career Awareness & Academic Planning” , Psychometric tests.

Achievement in Professional Development

Mr. N Ranga Rao has been selected for selected for the prestigious Post Graduate Diploma in Global Education (PGDGE) course, further enhancing their academic and mentoring skills. Additionally, also been chosen for the ‘Train the Trainer Program’
