British Council Programme – Aditya Birla Public School, Rawan

Aditya Birla Public School, Rawan is actively implementing the British Council's Recognition of International Dimension in Schools (RIDS) programme to nurture globally competent, culturally aware, and socially responsible learners. The programme integrates international perspectives into the school curriculum through interdisciplinary, competency-based, and experiential learning activities aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and 21st-century skills.

The school's RIDS Action Plan includes seven international projects, comprising four in-house and three collaborative activities, engaging students from Classes I to XII across subjects such as English, Social Science, Science, Mathematics, ICT, Art & Craft, and General Knowledge. Students explore global themes including world literature, cultural heritage, traditional sports, medicinal plants, festivals, monuments, and traditional attire while collaborating with partner schools from Argentina, Vietnam, and Indonesia.

Through these projects, ABPS Rawan promotes global citizenship, intercultural understanding, critical thinking, creativity, communication, collaboration, digital literacy, and environmental responsibility.
