English Picture Talk Activity (07/8/2024)

Clay moulding (16/01/2025)
This activity was conducted for classes from Nursery to UKG to develop fine motor skills, creativity and self–expression through clay moulding. The students prepared fruits, and vegetables and created their moulding project.
Fruit Ramp Walk (05/02/2025)
A Fruit Ramp Walk was organised for the students of Nursery to UKG to develop their cognitive skills and promote healthy eating habits. Children came dressed as different fruits and confidently walked on the ramp, showcasing their creativity and enthusiasm. The activity not only helped them in recognising various fruits but also encouraged the importance of including fruits in their daily diet for a healthy lifestyle.
Bookmark Making Competition (06/05/2025)
An inter-class Bookmark Making Competition was organized for students of Classes V to VII. The event aimed to foster creativity and a love for reading among students. Participants designed unique and artistic bookmarks, each featuring a short and meaningful quotation highlighting the value of books or the importance of reading.
English Poem Recitation Activity (6/5/2025)
The activity was conducted for classes I and II to develop students' fluency and confidence in reciting English poems.
Hindi storytelling activity (5/07/2025)
The activity was conducted for classes I & II with an objective to develop speaking and critical thinking skills. Students narrated the stories on moral values of their own choice.
Maths Abacus Number System (10/07/2025)
The Abacus Number System activity was conducted to strengthen students’ mental maths skills through experiential learning. The hands-on practice helped learners visualise numbers, understand place value, and perform quick calculations with accuracy and confidence.
Temple Visit (23/07/2025)
The students of Nursery to II visited the temple to learn about ethics and moral values. They also chanted shlokas and offered prayers to take blessings of the deities.
Inter-House Solo Dance Competition (24/07/2025)
The Inter-House Solo Dance Competition for Classes I and II was held on 24th July 2025 on the theme Bollywood/Western Style. A total of 45 students participated enthusiastically, showcasing their talent through vibrant and energetic performances. Dressed in colourful and attractive costumes, the young dancers captivated the audience with their graceful moves, confidence, and expressive performances.
Purple Colour Day Activity
Purple Colour Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm. Children came dressed in purple attire and participated in activities like object-sorting, colouring, and craft work. The celebration helped them to recognise the colour purple in their surroundings.
Inter-House Spell Bee Competition (8/07/2025)
It was held for classes I and II featuring students from various houses. The competition aimed to test spelling skills, vocabulary, and confidence. The winner of the competition was Bhaskar House.
Inter-house Doha recitation and Sanskrit shloka competition (06/08/2024)
The competition was conducted with an objective to develop the linguistic skills and enhance rhythm among the students. The competition was organized in three categories, class III to V, VI to VIII and IX to X. 24 students participated in Doha competition and 08 students participated in shlok competition.
Inter-House Solo Dance Competition (24/07/2025)
The Competition witnessed 45 students from Classes I & II showcase their talent in Bollywood and Western dance styles. Dressed in colourful costumes, the young performers impressed everyone with their confidence, energy, and expressions, making the event a lively and memorable one.
Inter House Solo Song Competition (16/04/2025)
The competition was conducted for Classes III to XII to enhance students’ singing and listening skills. Classes III to VIII presented devotional songs, while Classes IX to XII rendered inspirational songs.
Inter-House Hindi Poem Recitation Competition (23/04/2025)
It was held for Classes III to V on the theme “Patriotism.” Students recited inspiring poems with confidence and expression, showcasing their love for the nation and enhancing their oratory skills.
Inter House Story Telling Competition (28/08/2024)
The competition was conducted for classes 3 to 5 to develop public speaking confidence, organizing the ideas and delivering the content among students. After the screening of 30 students, 8 finalists were selected for final round.
Inter house solo song competition (19/04/2024)
Inter House Solo song competition was conducted for classes VI to XII to nurture musical talents and foster a sense of healthy competition. The students of all four houses poured their hearts into the performance.
Inter-House English Skit Competition (23/11/2024)
In the competition each house presented a skit on a theme of Moral Values. The skits were judged on criteria such as creativity, teamwork, and language proficiency. Students demonstrated their ability to express themselves effectively through dialogue, narration, and action. Students showcased their ability to collaborate and develop team work.
Inter-House Pot Colouring Competition (23/07/2025)
The Art Department organized the Inter-House Pot Colouring Competition. A total of 16 students participated in two categories – Classes VI to VIII and Classes IX to XII. The event aimed to hone students’ artistic skills and provided them a creative platform to showcase their talent.
IH Collage making competition (02/05/2024)
It was conducted for the classes VI to XII. Three best students were selected from each house after screening. 24 students participated in the competition.
Inter-House Book Jacket Designing Competition (29/07/2025)
The competition was held for the students of classes IX to XII. Four students from each of the four houses were selected to design creative and unique book jackets and to provide distinct and appropriate titles for the books. The aim was to encourage creativity and artistic expression while fostering a love for reading and promoting good reading habits among students.
Inter-House English Debate Competition (09/07/2025)
The Competition was successfully conducted showcasing the oratory and analytical abilities of our students. The event was organized in three distinct categories: Sub-Junior (Classes III–V), Junior (Classes VI–VIII), and Senior (Classes IX–XII). Each house was represented by two candidates in every category, resulting in a total of 24 participants across the competition. The aim of the competition was to enable students to express their opinions, hone their critical thinking, and develop effective communication skills.
Interhouse Display Board Competition (11/07/2025)
An Interhouse Display Board Competition was conducted on the theme “Climate Action and Sustainable Development”. The competition aimed to create awareness among students about the urgent need to combat climate change and adopt sustainable practices for a better future.
All four Houses participated enthusiastically, showcasing their creativity through thought-provoking slogans, informative write-ups, and artistic presentations. The display boards reflected innovative ideas, highlighting issues such as renewable energy, afforestation, water conservation, waste management, and eco-friendly lifestyles.
After a keenly contested evaluation, Martand House was declared the winner for their well-structured presentation, clarity of message, and aesthetic appeal.
Inter-House Hindi Debate Competition (31/07/2025)
The competition was held for Classes III to X to develop students’ speaking and logical skills.
Themes included भारतीय संस्कृति की विरासत एकल या संयुक्त परिवार (III–V), क्या सौर ऊर्जा थर्मल ऊर्जा का स्थान ले सकती है? (VI–VIII), and सफलता के लिए आवश्यक: शिक्षा या संस्कार (IX–XII).
Inter-House Glass Painting Competition (08/04/2025)
Held for Classes VI to XII on the theme “Abstract Art.” Students showcased creativity and imagination through glass painting, with separate categories for VI to VIII and IX to XII.
Inter-House Rangoli Competition (07/05/2025)
Organized to promote creativity through traditional Indian art. Category A (VI–VIII) was on “A Tribute to Mother” and Category B (IX–XII) on “Incredible India.” Students beautifully expressed their artistic flair and cultural pride.
Inter-Class Best Class Award Competition (May 2025)
To instill a spirit of healthy competition and promote overall development, the school conducted the Inter-Class Best Class Award Competition across three categories: Classes III to V, VI to VIII, and IX to XII.
The assessment was based on four important parameters—Academics, Cleanliness, Discipline, and Turn-out. Special emphasis was laid on cleanliness of classrooms, disciplined behaviour, and neat turn-out of students, as these qualities form the foundation of a positive school environment.
All classes participated with great enthusiasm, maintaining tidy classrooms, adhering to school rules, and ensuring a smart and dignified appearance. After thorough evaluation, Class III, Class VIII, and Class X-B were declared winners in their respective categories. Their collective effort in upholding cleanliness, discipline, and turn-out, along with academic excellence, made them worthy of this recognition.
