About Us

The Legacy of Excellence

The journey of The Aditya Birla Public School (ABPS), Rawan began in 1994 when a Type-III building at Grasim Vihar Township (then Madhya Pradesh, now Chhattisgarh) was transformed into a Mini School with just three students under the leadership of Mr. Yogesh Khosla. Initially named DAV Public School, Grasim, the institution marked its humble beginnings with a commitment to quality education.

In 1997, the school was rebranded as Delhi Public School under the aegis of the Delhi Public School Society, with Ms. S. Chandra at the helm. Its robust infrastructure and academic achievements soon earned it the reputation of a “temple of learning.” The first Class X Board examinations were conducted in 1998, followed by Class XII (Science) in 2000, the same year the Commerce stream was introduced. To meet the increasing demand for quality education, boys’ and girls’ hostels were established in 1999 and 2000 respectively.
