To familiarize students with the democratic process of elections as outlined in the Indian Constitution and to encourage active citizenship among learners by conducting a student council election. The aim was to provide students with hands-on experience of the electoral process, instil a sense of responsibility, and demonstrate the working of democracy in action.

Outcome and Reflection:

This activity helped students understand the value of participation in democratic processes. It also enhanced their leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Most importantly, it instilled in them the belief that every vote counts and that leadership is earned through trust and service.

Student Council Elections on 7th May 2026

The Student Council Elections were conducted with great enthusiasm, discipline, and responsibility
at Aditya Birla Public School, Baga on 7th May 2026. A total of 265 students from Classes VI to
XII actively participated in the democratic voting process.

Students cast their votes for the positions of School Head Boy, School Head Girl, Sports Captain,
and Sports Vice Captain. The well-organised polling booth created an authentic election
experience, enabling students to understand the values of leadership, fairness, responsibility, and
democratic participation.

The students patiently stood in queues and exercised their voting rights with sincerity and confidence.
The election process provided them with a meaningful opportunity to experience democracy firsthand
and take their first step towards responsible citizenship and effective leadership.

The initiative reflected the school’s commitment to nurturing confident, responsible, and
democratic-minded young leaders. The enthusiastic participation of the students made the event a
memorable and enriching experience for the entire school community.

Investiture Ceremony 2026 on 19th May 2026

Aditya Birla Public School, Baga proudly conducted its Investiture Ceremony on 19th May
2026 with great enthusiasm, dignity, and pride. The ceremony marked the formal induction of
the newly elected Student Council, symbolising leadership, responsibility, discipline, and
commitment towards the school community.

The ceremony commenced with a sense of pride and solemnity as the newly elected student
leaders formally assumed their responsibilities. The Chief Guest, respected Unit Head Mr.
Brejender Singh Saggu, and the Guest of Honour, School Manager Mr. Sanjeev Rajput,
conferred badges and sashes upon the student leaders. Their presence and encouraging words
inspired the young leaders to uphold the values of integrity, dedication, discipline, and service.

The ceremony was further enriched by the inspiring guidance of the Principal, Ms. Vibha
Gupta, whose vision and leadership continue to nurture responsible, confident, and
empowered young citizens. She encouraged the newly appointed student leaders to lead by
example, discharge their duties sincerely, and contribute positively to the school community.

The Investiture Ceremony was a significant occasion that instilled a sense of responsibility and
pride among the student leaders. It reinforced the belief that true leadership is not merely about
holding a position, but about serving others with commitment, compassion, and integrity.
