House System
The House System at Aditya Birla Public School, Baga is designed to foster a sense of belonging, teamwork, and leadership among students. It provides opportunities for healthy competition, character building, and the development of life skills beyond academics.
The school has re-christened its four houses as synonyms of Aditya (the Sun) – the eternal source of light, energy, and inspiration.
Team Spirit
Structure and Leadership
∙ Every student from Class III onwards is placed in one of these houses. ∙ Each house is led by a House Captain and a Vice-Captain, who take on leadership responsibilities and inspire their peers.
∙ The houses function under the guidance of a House Teacher-in-Charge, working in coordination with other faculty members of the respective houses.
Activities and Recognition
. The House System creates a vibrant platform where students showcase their skills and talents through intramural competitions in:
∙ Literary events – debates, declamations, quizzes.
∙ Sports events – athletics, team games, and individual competitions.
∙ Cultural activities – music, dance, theatre, and art.
Trophies and Awards
∙ Houses are awarded trophies for their overall performance in various competitions.
∙ Outstanding individual performers are recognized with certificates of merit for their achievements and contributions.
