On 31st July 2024, our school had the honour of welcoming the Regional Head of ABG's, Dr Manoj Gupta for an official visit. The day began with a grand assembly where the entire school gathered to extend a warm welcome. The Regional Head was greeted by our enthusiastic students, dedicated teachers, and proud staff members, setting the tone for a day filled with meaningful interactions and insightful discussions. Following the assembly, the Regional Head engaged with students from classes X to XII. The students had the opportunity to share their thoughts, ask questions, and gain valuable insights from the experience and wisdom of such a respected leader. The discussions ranged from academic aspirations to future career goals, leaving the students inspired and motivated. In addition to interacting with students, the Regional Head held a meeting with parents, guardians, and other key stakeholders in the school community. This meeting was an excellent platform for open dialogue, where parents and guardians could voice their opinions, concerns, and expectations. The Regional Head took this opportunity to provide valuable feedback, address concerns, and discuss the future direction of the school in alignment with the broader goals of ABG's. The day was concluded with a meeting of teaching staff. These sessions were focused on gathering feedback, discussing teaching methodologies, and exploring ways to enhance the overall educational experience for our students. The Regional Head's commitment to understanding the needs of both teachers and students was evident, and these interactions have undoubtedly laid the ground work for continued improvement and success in our school. The visit was a significant milestone for our school, reflecting our strong commitment to excellence and our dedication to fostering an environment where every member of the school community feels valued and heard. By incorporating such classroom activities into the curriculum, we aim to nurture inquisitive minds and help students develop practical skills that will benefit them both in and out of the classroom. An inspiring Model Presentation on ‘Harvesting Rainwater’ was organized by class X. The event that highlighted the creativity, innovation, and collaborative skills of our students. Students worked in small groups to build working rain harvesting model, advertising the product and teamwork. The student-produced advertisements were a testament to the talent and creativity of students. This project not only taught valuable lessons in marketing but also encouraged students to think outside the box and express their ideas in innovative ways. We are incredibly proud of the originality and effort each group put into their ads, and we look forward to seeing how these budding marketers will apply their skills in the future. The students were eager to dive into the task, collaborating with their peers and experimenting with different approaches. The classroom buzzed with excitement as students applied their knowledge in a real world context, discovering new insights along the way. The activity not only reinforced the day's lesson but also encouraged students to think beyond the textbook, sparking curiosity and a love for learning. Teachers observed increased engagement and enthusiasm as students took pride in their work and shared their findings with the class. These activities are the examples of how educators are committed to provide a well-rounded and engaging educational experience.
On 15th August 2025 our school proudly celebrated Independence Day with a vibrant and heart-warming event that captured the essence of patriotism and unity. The celebration began with a warm welcome to our esteemed Chief Guest Mr. Nitesh Kumar Nirala ji UH –UTCL Baga whose presence added a special touch to the occasion. The School Manager Mr.Rajesh Jamwal ji, along with all Functional Heads and DHs’ witnessed the celebration. The program commenced with the traditional lamp lighting a reverent homage to Goddess Saraswati, in voking her blessings for wisdom and learning. This was followed by a stirring performance on Ganapati Vandana, patriotic group songs by our talented students. Their melodious renditions stirred the hearts of everyone present, resonating with the true spirit of our nation. The highlight of the event was a series of delightful dances performed by our little champs. Their energetic and expressive and flawless performances were met with applause and cheers, showcasing their enthusiasm and love for their country. The function continued with a marvellous speech delivered by Vanshika Sharma, whose eloquence and passion left a lasting impression on all. Vanshika’s words reminded us of the sacrifices made for our freedom and in spired us to cherish and uphold the values of independence. Our Unit Head Mr. Nitesh Kumar Nirala ji also took the stage to deliver a thoughtful speech, reflecting on the significance of the day and the progress our nation has made. The Unit Head's address was both insight ful and motivational, reinforcing the importance of unity and patriotism. The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to everyone who contributed to making the celebration a success. To wrap up the day, the entire gathering joined in singing "Vande Mataram" a powerful and moving anthem that beautifully encapsulated the spirit of the occasion.
At Aditya Birla Public School, Baga, the Investiture Ceremony held on 4th July 2025 marked a proud moment as we formally entrusted our newly elected student council with their responsibilities for the academic year. The event began with a solemn march past by the council members, followed by the pinning of badges and the handing over of sashes by the Principal and esteemed guests. The Head Boy, Head Girl, House Captains, and other council representatives took the oath to uphold the school’s values, lead with integrity, and inspire their peers through example. The Principal, in her address, encouraged the young leaders to embrace their roles with dedication, responsibility, and a spirit of service. The ceremony instilled a sense of pride, discipline, and commitment among the students, reaffirming the school’s belief in nurturing leadership and character. This memorable occasion was not just a celebration of titles, but apledge to work together for the growth and glory of ABPS, Baga.
The month of September was filled with excitement and learning as our students participated in various literary and language-based competitions. These events not only provided a platform for students to showcase their talents but also helped in developing their linguistic skills and boosting their confidence. Classes I and II charmed the audience with their heartfelt Poem Recitation performances. The young students took to the stage with enthusiasm, reciting poems filled with emotion, creativity, and innocence. Their performances were a delightful showcase of expression, and each participant demon started great confidence and poise. It was wonderful to see our youngest learners take the first steps toward public speaking and artistic expression. Students from Classes III to V participated in the Inter House Hindi Spell Bee competition, where they displayed their strong command over the Hindi language. Middle school students from Classes VI to VIII impressed everyone with their linguistic abilities in the English Spell Bee competition. This competition provided an excellent opportunity for students to refine their English vocabulary, spelling, and comprehension skills, all while enjoying the thrill of friendly competition.
Orientation 2024 provides a comprehensive and engaging overview of what the school has to offer, to be a time of unparalleled success and achievement. We envision ourselves landing our dream jobs, earning a six-figure salary, and living giving new students and parents a well-rounded understanding of the school's environment and opportunities. Considering Class wise Orientation Program, a good interactive platform for Principal, parents and teachers was designed to help students and parents’ transition smoothly into their new academic journey. The class wise orientation program commenced from 20th July 2024. It’s always going to be perfect blend of information, inspiration, and interaction, setting a positive tone for the year ahead. Principal ABPS briefed parents about the upcoming assessments, including the schedule, the syllabus to be covered, and the strategies to help students prepare effectively. It was shared, emphasizing the importance of a balanced approach to academics and other skills. Teach ers assured them of personalized attention and remedial classes where necessary. Discussions also included students' behaviour and discipline in school. Principal emphasized the importance of maintaining decorum and encouraged parents to support the school in instilling good values in their children. Sir highlighted the key events of school like Independence Day celebrations, sports meets, cultural fests, and academic achievements. Showcase the variety of extracurricular activities available, such as sports teams, music, dance, drama clubs, art workshops, and debate teams. Include photos or videos of students actively participating in these activities. Highlight annual events like science fairs, art exhibitions, talent shows, and inter-school competitions.
The Parent-Teacher Meeting (PTM) for classes LKG to XII was conducted successfully on 25th July 2024. The meeting provided an opportunity for parents to interact with the teachers, discuss their child's progress, and address any concerns they might have. Teachers shared detailed progress reports of students, highlighting their strengths and areas that need improvement. Academic achievements and behavioural observations were discussed with parents. Parents were encouraged to share their feedback as their input was valuable in understanding the expectations and concerns they had. Individual meetings were held for parents who had specific concerns regarding their child. The PTM on 25 July 2024 was a productive session that helped bridge the gap between parents and teachers. The open dialogue fostered mutual understanding and collaboration, ensuring that both parties work together to support the students' overall development. The feedback received will be instrumental in planning future strategies for enhancing the educational experience of the students.
Our school recently participated in the under-14 Zonal Tournament, showcased the talent, team work, and sportsmanship.29 students participated for various categories i.e. KHO-KHO, Wrestling and Chess at G.S.S.S Namhol and G.S.S.S Panjgai. Out of 29 students, 04 students got selected for District Level Competition. Tarun from Class-IX secured the second position in Wrestling, Himanshu Agarwal (IX), Anirudh Thakur (VIII) and Abhay Sharma (IX) secured the second position in Chess. Special mention goes to their exceptional performance, which was a highlight of the tournament. We commend every participant for their effort and commitment. Whether they won or lost, they embodied the true spirit of sportsmanship, representing ABPS Baga with pride and honour. All participants, their mentors and escort teachers for their remarkable participation, were congratulated and felicitated by the Principal in the morning assembly so that all can get inspired. A heartfelt vote of thanks was proposed to staff, and supporters for their unwavering encouragement. Principal ABPS encouraged everyone to look forward to even greater achievements in the future.
At ABPS, Baga, Teachers’ Day was celebrated in a warm and joyful manner. The HR management organized a special lunch at the Guest House to honour the teachers. After the meal, the teachers enjoyed various fun games and activities together, making the day memorable and filled with laughter. The celebration was a token of appreciation for the dedication and hard work of our teachers.
The Annual Day Celebration of ABPS, Baga was held with great enthusiasm and grandeur on 15th October 2025. The event marked a memorable occasion showcasing the remarkable talents, achievements, and creativity of our students.
The celebration began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the Chief Guest, esteemed dignitaries, and the Principal, symbolizing the spirit of knowledge and enlightenment. The Principal warmly welcomed the gathering and highlighted the school’s journey of growth, achievements, and commitment towards holistic education.
The stage came alive with a vibrant cultural programme that included mesmerizing dance performances, melodious songs, and thought-provoking skits—each reflecting values of unity, creativity, and excellence. The theme of the evening beautifully captured the essence of learning, innovation, and teamwork.
Students were also felicitated for their outstanding academic performance and co-curricular achievements, motivating others to strive for excellence in all spheres. The energy and enthusiasm of the performers filled the audience with joy and pride.
The event concluded with the Vote of Thanks, followed by the National Anthem. It was truly an evening of celebration, inspiration, and togetherness—highlighting the collective efforts of students, teachers, and parents who make ABPS a vibrant center of learning and growth.
At ABPS, Baga, Gandhi Jayanti was celebrated with great enthusiasm and reverence to honor the birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi Ji. The day began with a special assembly highlighting Gandhiji’s life, his principles of truth, non-violence, and simplicity. Students presented speeches, poems, and skits depicting his contribution to India’s freedom struggle and his message of peace and unity.
To mark the occasion, various engaging activities were organized for students. Young learners participated in cleanliness drives and craft activities inspired by Gandhi Ji’s ideals of “Swachh Bharat”. Students enthusiastically cleaned their surroundings, learning the value of dignity of labor and responsibility towards the environment. Creative classroom activities, including model-making and art related to Gandhiji’s teachings, added colour and joy to the celebration.
The event beautifully blended fun and learning, instilling in students the spirit of truth, non-violence, and service to society. It was indeed a meaningful tribute to the great leader who taught us that “In a gentle way, you can shake the world.”
